ANNUAL SALARY: R612 727,00 per annum (excluding benefits and allowances)

Requirements: • Grade 12 certificate coupled with a minimum NQF level 6 Qualification as recognised by SAQA in the Information Technology Environment • Minimum five (5) years working experience in the Business Continuity environment. 

Knowledge: • In-depth understanding of business continuity management and governance frameworks, strong knowledge of business continuity best practices and protocols, operational risk management, and IT practices. 

Skills: • Ability to lead and direct the business continuity efforts of the legislature from a strategic an operational perspective • Advanced computer literacy. 

Duties: • Develop the business continuity management strategy for the NWPL • Develop the organisation-wide business continuity management program including: development of tools and instructional guides • Develop the required policies and procedures for BCM in the legislature • Oversee the implementation of the BCM plan • Establish the required relationships with external service providers to assist with the plan when required • Monitor and evaluate the preparedness of the legislature to ensure business continuity • In the event of a disaster, manage the business continuity interventions as per the plan • Pro actively research best practices and utilise those as inputs into improving the BCM functionality at the NWPL • Perform any other Function as may be directed by the Supervisor.
