Public Works working in public? [Letter to the editor]

22 February 2021

Rustenburg – For over a year now, the Expanded Public Works Programme have been dropping off teams of workers to clean up the canal in Buiten Street, almost daily. Groups of up to a 100 people then spend most of the morning lying under the trees, doing each other’s hair, and walking around while about 10% at least pretend to be working.
