Riding for a purpose

The cycling event raised funds to assist charities that are struggling to stay afloat due to the unexpected and unforeseen challenges brought about by COVID-19.

Karate stars excel in virtual competition

Rustenburg – The Rustenburg Tokon Shotokan karate team achieved third place in the Traditional Styles Known Knowledge in Action (TSKKIA) online virtual kata competition which ended on Thursday 29 October. The talented martial arts students made a brave effort in the tournament, where 46 other TSKKIA-affiliated clubs competed in the largest online virtual kata competition in South Africa.

South Africa – The Department of Basic Education (DBE) said they will leave no stone unturned in their investigations to establish how a matric mathematics examination paper was leaked. The department became aware of the leak a few hours before learners were due to sit for the final examination on Monday 16 November.
