Pay R30,000 for R268,000 or face jail

Brits – A 45-year-old man was found guilty of defrauding his employers when he appeared before the Brits Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 19 January. Calvin Kwinana was sentenced to five years imprisonment with an option of a fine of R30,000 after the state successfully proved he was guilty of defrauding the South African Nuclear Energy Corporation, during the time he was employed there as an accountant.
