Rustenburg – The Rustenburg Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) stands as a beacon of hope for animals in need. With a mission deeply rooted in the service and protection of our four-legged friends, the Rustenburg SPCA is committed to elevating animal welfare and ensuring the laws designed to protect them are both upheld and respected.

As a non-profit organisation, the Rustenburg SPCA covers a wide area, dedicating its efforts to the wellbeing of animals in and around our community. Their operations, however, hinge on the generous support of the community, ensuring that every animal within their care receives the necessary love, care, and attention they deserve.

A CALL FOR KINDNESS
The Rustenburg SPCA has compiled a “wish list” of items essential for the day-to-day care of the animals in their kennels. The community is encouraged to contribute:
Toys for both dogs and cats, to provide comfort and stimulation.
Dog and cat dewormers, to maintain their health.

Flea powder for dogs and cats, to keep them comfortable and parasite-free.
Cleaning supplies such as Pine Gel/JIK and black refuse bags, to maintain a clean environment.
Nutritional needs including adult and kitten/cat food, as well as adult and puppy/dog food, to ensure they are well-fed.

Blankets to keep the animals warm and comfortable.
Medical supplies such as Protexin soluble, F10 ointment, and F10 spray, to address any health issues.
Dog houses/kennels to provide shelter.
