Local crowned as Miss Amazing Pretoria 2023 

Rustenburg - Motshidisi Rapoo (21), who hails from the quiet village of Mabeskraal, known as Tlhakong in Rustenburg, has made waves.

Motshidisi’s journey took an unexpected turn when she entered the prestigious Miss Amazing Pretoria 2023 competition. With grace, confidence, and an unyielding spirit, she navigated the competition’s challenging waters, defying the odds. 

The culmination of her dedication and perseverance came on Saturday 14 October 2023, when she was crowned as the queen of Miss Amazing Pretoria 2023. Rapoo is also a student at the University of Pretoria, in her second year, studying for her Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching. Her journey is a beacon of hope for aspiring individuals, especially those who come from small villages, proving that greatness knows no boundaries.
