Kroondal/Rustenburg - The Strongman Champions League World Championship Truck Pull 2023, held at Steineck Lodge on Saturday 21 October 2023, showcased remarkable strength and determination. Competitors from around the globe, hailing from countries as diverse as New Zealand, Zambia, Nigeria, the UK, Ireland, the USA, Finland, Poland, the Netherlands, and from South Africa, converged to test their mettle.

Ultimately, Kelvin De Ruiter (35) from the Netherlands emerged victorious, securing first place. Poland’s Adam Roszkowski (29) followed closely in second place, while South Africa’s Kelin Mills (34) clinched a remarkable third. The event showcased the unyielding spirit of these strongmen, leaving the spectators in awe of their extraordinary feats.

 

The winners flexed their muscles in the following three pulls: 

  • Truck Pull (harness only): 12000 kg (12 tonnes) for 25 m 
  • Monster Truck Over Arm: 12000 kg (12 tonnes) for 25 m
  • Truck Pull (harness and rope): 20000 kg (20 tonnes) for 25 m
