Rustenburg – The WA Van Zyl Hall has officially closed its doors for much-needed renovations. According to a notice issued by municipal manager Adv. Ashmar Khuduge, the hall has been closed from 15 October 2025 until further notice. The closure marks the start of an important improvement phase for the popular facility, which has long hosted countless local events — from weddings and school functions to municipal meetings and community gatherings. While the temporary closure may cause some inconvenience to residents and event organisers, the planned renovations promise a rejuvenated space that will better serve the Rustenburg community for years to come.
