Bergsig eagles soar with 47 medals and 9 new records!

Rustenburg – Bergsig Academy’s athletes made a powerful statement at the Linden Prestige meet on Friday, 21 February 2025, at the University of Johannesburg. 

Competing against eight top athletic schools in the final showdown before Inter-High, the talented Eagles dominated the track and field, raking in an incredible 47 medals — 20 gold, 14 silver, and 13 bronze. But that’s not all — these rising stars shattered an astounding nine records, proving they are a force to be reckoned with.
