Should non-voters receive the election day public holiday?
This year in South Africa, the national elections are set for Wednesday, 29 May 2024. Thousands of citizens will join long queues to cast their votes for their preferred political party. Additionally, the day has been declared a national public holiday.
However, this raises an important question: Should those who choose not to vote also benefit from the public holiday? We want to hear your opinions!
