Platinum Weekly newspaper | Rustenburg – The Rustenburg Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Academy wrapped up another powerful year on 6 November 2025, hosting its festive year-end prize giving at Ellie’s venue. Students, parents, sponsors, and supporters gathered to celebrate a year marked by dedication, discipline, and undeniable progress across all age groups and disciplines.

Sensei Brian van Rooyen expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the academy’s success throughout 2025. “Rustenburg MMA would like to thank all our students, kickboxers, and karateka’s for their hard work and dedication throughout 2025. A special thank you also goes to all parents for your continued support and assistance.”

Honouring excellence: 2025 Top 10 Students

This year’s Top 10 achievers embodied the spirit of MMA — commitment, courage, and continuous improvement. The academy proudly announced the 2025 Top 10 Students:
