Conquering the Kaapsehoop’s scenic marathon

Rustenburg – On Saturday, 1 November 2025, the athletes of Run/Walk For Life Rustenburg delivered outstanding performances at the point-to-point 42.2 km race of the Tswelopele Kaapsehoop 3-in-1 Marathon — a fast, scenic downhill route from the mountain village of Kaapsehoop to Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga. 

Among them, Kay Khoza crossed the line in a remarkable 3:00:16, and Martha Moloto followed in an impressive 3:45:43 — true testaments of dedication, endurance and determination from start to finish.
