RCC Riders Conquer Karoo to Coast

 

Rustenburg – The Lions Karoo to Coast Mountain Bike Challenge is no ordinary ride. Spanning 100 kilometres of rugged terrain between Uniondale and Knysna, via the breathtaking Prince Alfred’s Pass, it is known for its beauty, endurance test, and unforgettable experience. This year’s event, held on Sunday, 21 September 2025, attracted cyclists from across the country, including two first-time participants from the Rustenburg Cycling Club (RCC).

Congratulations to Christoff Steenkamp (E-bike) and Peter Richards (MTB), who proudly represented RCC in this demanding race. Both riders completed the challenge and carried the Rustenburg spirit across one of South Africa’s most iconic mountain biking routes.
