Bergsig Academy roars to victory!

Rustenburg – The rugby fields were alive with energy and determination as Bergsig Academy’s rugby teams put on a masterful display against Volkies Potch on Saturday, 15 March 2025. The day was marked by outstanding teamwork, unshakable resilience, and moments of sheer sporting brilliance. Bergsig’s young talents displayed their prowess across different age groups, securing five triumphant wins. The u14A team delivered a rugby clinic, crushing their opponents with a staggering 54-0 victory. The u14B team fought tooth and nail for a close yet well-earned 31-27 win. The u15A squad asserted dominance with a 31-7 triumph, while the u16B team kept fans on the edge of their seats, clinching a razor-thin 18-17 victory. The second team wrapped up the winning streak with a solid 25-15 performance. Although the first team narrowly missed out on victory in a tense 30-31 battle, their grit and determination were undeniable.
