Impala Vixens fall to Welkom, but the battle continues!

Rustenburg – The Impala Vixens faced a tough challenge in the Carien Broodryk League on Saturday, 15 March 2025, as they took on Welkom Rugby Club. 

Despite their best efforts, the Vixens fell short, with Welkom securing a 35-10 victory. While the Vixens take a well-deserved break this Saturday, the action is far from over! Up next, the Impala Rugby Club will clash with Matlosana Rugby Club in Potchefstroom on 29 March 2025.

Director of rugby, Johan Engelbrecht, has his sights set on victory in the upcoming Phillip van Rensburg Knockout Tournament, hosted by the Leopards Rugby Union. “Our team is working hard to win this one this year,” he says.
