Bergsig Academy soars with stunning athletics performance! 

Rustenburg – Bergsig Academy made an impressive mark at the Top 15 Athletics Meet on Thursday, 6 February 2025, securing 11th place out of 32 of the best athletic schools! 

The athletes delivered a remarkable performance, earning a total of 9 medals: 7 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze.

Highlights include Victory Explained (under 14), who claimed gold in the 3,000m and 8th in the 1,500m, and Scott Williamson (under 17), who triumphed with gold in both the 1,500m and 3,000m. Tanika van Zyl (under 14) claimed gold in the 100m and bronze in the 200m, while Welcome Guest (under 15) dominated the 800m and 1,500m with gold.
