Rustenburg – Dedication, discipline, and the pursuit of excellence were on full display as local martial artists levelled up in their karate journeys at a prestigious Tokon Shotokan Karate grading event on 14 December 2024. Under the guidance of Kancho Albert Venter, these athletes showcased their skills, proving that hard work and perseverance pay off.

Sensei Hendrik Myburgh earned his 3rd Dan black belt, while Sensei Lee-Andre Myburgh and Sensei Dominic Vrey both attained their 1st Dan ranks. Sensei Trevon James also joined the esteemed ranks of black belt holders, marking a significant milestone in his karate career. Kancho Venter, founder and master instructor, beamed with pride as his students reached new heights.
