Bergsig swimmers make waves at Inter-Provincial Gala! 

Rustenburg – Bergsig Academy’s swimming stars made a splash at the Inter-Provincial Gala in Kimberley on Saturday, 25 January 2025. 

Competing against top swimmers from North West, Free State, and Northern Cape, they showed incredible skill and determination in the water. 

Donovan Breedt, grade 8, delivered a strong performance, securing fifth place in the 50m Freestyle and an impressive second place in the 200m Medley Relay. Naldo Kock, grade 11, proved his strength in multiple events, claiming second place in both the 50m Backstroke and 50m Butterfly, along with a third-place finish in the 100m Butterfly.
