Bergsig swimmers excel at NW Championships

Rustenburg – Bergsig Academy proudly announced on Thursday, 16 January 2025, that two of their talented swimmers, Naldo Kock and Alex Sheppard, demonstrated exceptional skills during the 2024 North West Swimming Championships held over the December holidays. 

Facing fierce competition from 10 North West and 5 Gauteng swimming clubs, they delivered remarkable performances. Naldo Kock earned an impressive first place in the 50m Butterfly, among other top finishes, while Alex Sheppard secured strong placements, including fourth in the 200m Individual Medley. 

Adding to the celebration, both Donovan Breedt (grade 8) and Naldo Kock (grade 11) have been selected for the prestigious Interprovincial team, set to compete in Kimberley on Saturday, 25 January 2025. Big congratulations to these swimmers!
