Rustenburg – On Saturday 22 June 2024, the CASMAR Impala Rugby Club celebrated triumphant home games against Klerksdorp Rugby Club in the President Neser A league.

The first team clinched a victory with a score of 35-24, while the second team followed suit, winning 24-7. Head coach Johan Engelbrecht praised his players, noting that tries were scored by Dirkie Pretorius, Hanru Botha, Hennie Mare, Trompie Julies, and Jayden de Abreu.

Looking ahead, CASMAR Impala Rugby Club and the Impala Vixens (the club’s women’s team) are set to face Rovers Rugby Club this Saturday, 29 June 2024, at Impala Rugby Club in Rustenburg. 
CASMAR Impala Rugby Club head coach Johan Engelbrecht said, “The matches kick off at 13:00, with an entrance fee of R30. Join us for an exciting day filled with great spirit and fun!”

In addition, CASMAR Impala Rugby Club will host a Rugby Youth Day on the same day. Registration begins at 08:00, with a fee of R30 per person for participants aged 9 to 16. The event will include skills development sessions covering vision and technique, ball skills and kicking, power and strength, and discipline. Participants will receive a free t-shirt or lunchbox.
