Rustenburg – On Saturday 18 May 2024, Grenville High School’s u/15 netball girls participated in the District Best School Championships held at Bergsig Academy.

The team demonstrated exceptional skill and determination throughout the competition. 
They started strong by winning against Kgaphamadi Secondary School with a score of 11-4. 
Their match against Bergsig Academy ended in a nail-biting 8-8 draw. 

Despite a tough game against High School Brits, which ended in a 6-11 loss, the girls bounced back with an impressive 20-2 victory over Fumane Secondary School.

In the playoffs for the third and fourth places, Grenville faced Hartbeespoort High School. It was a tightly contested match, but Grenville emerged victorious with a 10-9 win. Competing fiercely against other top teams, the Grenville girls secured a commendable third place, earning them a well-deserved spot in the upcoming provincial play-offs.
