Rustenburg – On Saturday 25 May 2024, the CASMAR Impala Rugby Club showcased their talent and determination as they faced the Hurricanes in Stilfontein. The first team secured a resounding 50-33 victory, demonstrating their offensive strength with 8 tries, despite missing 5 conversions. The second team also shone with a flawless 19-0 win, highlighting their defensive talent.

The club’s success extended to their u/20 team, who defeated the Northam Wolverines from Hartbeespoort Dam with a commanding 34-15 victory on Friday 24 May 2024.

CASMAR Impala Rugby Club head coach Johan Engelbrecht expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming matches, stating, “The first round is over. We play 5 out of the 7 home games on our fields, and we hope to receive all the support to win all our games. We are much better prepared this time for Sibanye.”

The second round kicks off this weekend, Saturday 1 June 2024, against Sibanye Stillwater SAPGM Rugby Club. Come and support CASMAR Impala Rugby Club!
