RACE TO THE SUN!

Rustenburg – Members of the Rxcling Club (RCC) displayed remarkable endurance and skill in the exhilarating gravel race, ‘Race to the Sun,’ held on Saturday 11 May 2024.

Starting from the halfway point at Beestekraal Church in Roodekoppies, the race stretched all the way to Sun City, challenging riders with its demanding terrain. Among the notable finishers was Anton Greeff, who completed the rigorous course in an impressive time of 4 hours and 20 minutes. In the Veteran category, Riaan Rall showed remarkable determination, completing the race in 5 hours and 22 minutes, a testament to his enduring prowess and experience.

The ‘Race to the Sun’ continues to be a highlight on the RCC calendar, bringing together community and sportsmanship in a celebration of cycling resilience and the beautiful landscapes of our region.
