Rustenburg – Members of the Rustenburg Cycling Club (RCC) participated in a wide variety of races over the past couple of weeks.

 

DSK fun ride @ Kroondal

Several RCC teams recently took part in the fun ride at the Deutsche Schule in Rustenburg… Definitely an event to pencil in on next year’s calendar!

Kremetart Cycle Race

RRC members also competed in the Kremetart Cycle Race, a one-day, four-stage race around Soutpansberg in Louis Trichardt on 9 June.

Lindani Waterberg MTB

Several RCC members participated in the Lindani Waterberg MTB challenge on 26 May.

Susna Spies (left) claimed the third position in the ladies’ sub vet category.

Magalies Monster

Several RCC members competed in the Magalies Monster MTB race on 2 June.

KAP sani2c race

RCC members excelled in the KAP sani2c race from 10-12 May. Two-man teams entered in the 3-day stage race in KZN.

Sondela Bestmed weekend

RCC members enjoyed both the road race on Saturday, 19 May; and the MTB on Sunday. Congratulations to RCC’s Andries Scheepers who won the road race in the para-cyclist division.
