Stars held Super Sport United to a 0-0 draw

Rustenburg/ Phokeng – Platinum Stars and SuperSport United had to settle for a share of the spoils after Tuesday’s Absa Premiership encounter on 20 February at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium finished goalless.

Dikwena remain rooted at the bottom of the Absa Premiership league with 17 points from 21 matches. The two sides could not really find rhythm throughout the first half and they went into the half time goalless. Matsatsantsa were building momentum into the second half, but they were let down by their decision-making in the final third as they could not break the deadlock. 

As chances became few towards the closing stages, both sides settled for an insipid draw that does little to improve their current standings.
