2nd PSL loss in a row for Dikwena

Rustenburg/ Phokeng – The clash between Ajax Cape Town and Platinum Stars turned out badly for Dikwena in the second half of the match at Cape Town Stadium on Friday, 12 January.

The motion started slowly in the opening stages of the encounter and proved to be a quiet affair as neither side managed to carve out a clear-cut chance but five minutes before halftime. Dikwena broke the deadlock as Zama Rambuwane headed home to mark his debut with a goal.

Ajax came back from behind and levelled matters in the 73rd minute courtesy of a close range finish from Tercious Malepe, Dikwena totally lost track and the pace of the game after the equalizer as Ajax managed to score two vital goals in the last 10 minutes of the game, and won the game 3-1.

Platinum Stars is at the bottom of the log with 15 points from 17 games played of the 2017/2018 Absa Premiership season.
