Pharmacy Targeted Twice in Two Days — Suspects Still at Large
Kroondal – In a troubling series of events, Kroondal Pharmacy was broken into twice in just two days. According to police reports, the first break-in occurred early on the morning of 8 October 2025, when two male suspects entered the building by cutting a hole in the ceiling near the front shop. Fortunately, nothing was stolen during this first attempt, though visible damage showed where the intruders had gained entry.
However, the second incident took place the following night, on 9 October 2025, when the suspects returned — this time breaking open the Trellidor security gate. The second attack was far more destructive.
Pharmacy owner Loumarie Breet told Platinum Weekly: “They stole medication — including chronic medication — as well as an Android TV box, TV, cellphone, laptop, and the hard drive from our security cameras. They even broke the cameras.”
The case is under investigation. Residents are urged to report any suspicious activity or information that may help the police identify the suspects.
