R104 ACCIDENT LEAVES TWO INJURED

Rustenburg – On Friday 21 June 2024, an accident occurred on the R104, just outside Rustenburg, near Vaal Maseru, at approximately 12:30.

“A red Volkswagen Polo and a white Toyota bakkie were involved in the crash,” said Charl Visser, owner of Buffel Sekuriteit, Rustenburg Landelike Diens en Kroondal Plaaswag, one of the first responders on the scene. The incident saw the immediate response of Bojanala Ambulance Services, who rushed to the scene to stabilise the patients. According to Bojanala Ambulance Service manager Rufas Nong, both drivers, who were the sole occupants of their respective vehicles, sustained injuries. They were treated on the scene and then transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
