Tragic accident on N4 claims two lives

Rustenburg – Eagle Trauma Rescue was called to a tragic accident on the N4 on Saturday, 15 June 2024, at approximately 16:00. A double-coupling truck and a light motor vehicle collided just outside Rustenburg, between the Shell Ultra garage and Marikana Toll Plaza. The crash scene was a grim sight, with debris scattered across the N4. Eagle Trauma Rescue and other emergency ambulance services stabilised the surviving patients on the scene before transporting them to hospital. The occupants of the light motor vehicle, a driver and three passengers, bore the brunt of the collision. Tragically, two of the passengers succumbed to their injuries on the scene. The driver and third passenger sustained serious injuries. The driver of the truck sustained no injuries. Our sincerest condolences go out to the families and loved ones affected by this devastating accident.
