Rustenburg – A women in the city was approached by two armed men when she dropped off her kids in Waterfall on Friday, 8 June, the South African Community Crime Watch (SACCW) reported. They overpowered her, stole her car, cell phone and other personal belongings.

A nearby resident who witnessed the event pressed her SACCW panic button and Adriaan Bekker from the control room dispatched the Police and SACCW patrollers to the scene. It was then posted on the SACCW reaction group and all role players were mobilised without delay.

SACCW engaged their technical support team to track the victim’s phone and together through their network C-track was notified and a recovery agent dispatched. All stakeholders worked hand in hand with each other and recovered the vehicle in under two hours.

SACCW urges potential clients to remember to sign up to our panic button for just R49.00 per month. No admin fees and no hidden costs!
