Videos missing in child rape case

Rustenburg – The case in which the biological parents of an 8-old girl in Rustenburg were charged with rape and production of pornographic material earlier this year, was dismissed at the Rustenburg Magistrates’ Court.

Rustenburg police spokesperson, sergeant Ofentse Mokgadi, pointed out that the case was provisionally dismissed due to the unavailability of the cybercrime report and pornographic material.

The 34-year old father and 25-year old mother of the 8-year old girl were charged with rape and the production and distribution of pornographic material of the child on Friday, 16 February.
