Tragedy struck on Mother’s Day

Buffelspoort – Four children and two adults were killed after a vehicle caught fire on the N4 towards Buffelspoort on Mother’s Day morning, 13 May.

It is believed that the driver lost control of the car and crashed into a pillar before the vehicle burst into flames.

ER24 arrived on the scene at 10:50 and realised that all the occupants of the vehicle was deceased.
The woman who was killed in the accident, was pregnant. Three children, all believed to be between the ages of 6 to 9 years old, were also in the car. The woman, children and a man were declared dead on the scene by emergency services.
