DOORNHOEK ROBBERY

Koster/ Swartruggens – Three suspects invaded a small holding property on Doornpoort between Koster and Swartruggens under the pretext that they wanted to buy a cow on Monday, 21 April.

According to captain Elsabé Augoustides, police spokesperson, one of the suspects approached a domestic worker who was busy with washing. Suddenly two more suspect appeared at the scene. They claimed they wanted to buy a cow but suddenly tied the woman and ransacked the house. Among other things, the suspect stole electrical appliances and fled the scene. Police are investigating a case of robbery.
