Mooinooi – The headless body of a man that was found in Mooinooi has been positively identified on 12 April as that of 36-year old Klenkie Mgweba from the Malunda family in the Eastern Cape.  


Apart from the deceased’s identity, police spokesperson, Kelebogile Moleko could not provide further details about progress on the investigation. She confirmed however, that the DNA test conducted confirmed the man’s relationship to the Eastern Cape family.


The headless body of Mgweba was found lying in the street on 29 March and according to the police, no arrests have been made as yet.
