Mooinooi – The headless body of a person found lying in a street in Mooinooi on 29 March has been sent for post-mortem analysis.


A spokesperson for the police, sergeant Kelebogile Moleko told Platinum Weekly that police couldn’t find anything on the body to help establish the deceased’s identity.

“We can only estimate that he was in his thirties,” she said. 


Members of the community are also requested to assist the police in Mooinooi in identifying the body. The deceased’s body was found wearing a brown t-shirt, blue jersey, black pair of jeans and a brown waist belt. 


The police request anyone with information that may lead to identification of the body or locating the family of the deceased to call detective sergeant Sello on 079-357 4633.
