LANXESS considers its options following NUMSA’s failure to comply with Labour Court interdict

  • Labour Court order has declared the strike action illegal. 
  • High Court orders NUMSA to comply with Labour Court interdict. 
  • A total of 119 strikers have left the mine since the strike on 13 February and there are still some strikers underground. 
  • LANXESS institutes disciplinary action against the unlawful strikers. 
  • Prepared food has been allowed underground following violence and forceful entry over the weekend.

Die Chiefs is nou derde op die NZ log met 19 punte terwyl die Canes vierde is met 17 punte. Beide spanne het ses games gespeel.

According to eyewitnesses, various bystanders started looting the truck and people running away with the beer could be seen all along the busy road.
