Rocks thrown at motorists on N4

Platinum Weekly newspaper | Brits/Rustenburg – Bakwena warned motorists on Friday, 21 August 2026, about reports of stones and rocks being thrown at vehicles on the N4 between Brits Plaza and Rustenburg.

The dangerous practice poses a serious risk to road users. Bakwena’s N1N4 route patrollers monitor the entire route around the clock to remove debris and help keep motorists safe.

Drivers who encounter such an incident should not stop on the road. Continue to the nearest safe place, contact the local SAPS and report what happened.
