14 Injured in R510 crash near Ramochana Bridge

The wreckage near Ramochana Bridge, where emergency crews assisted 14 people following Sunday afternoon’s crash.

Platinum Weekly newspaper | Rustenburg – Rustenburg First Responders volunteers saw a serious crash unfold near Ramochana Bridge on the R510 at approximately 17:13 on Sunday, 27 September 2026, and moved in immediately to help.

The volunteers called for additional emergency assistance before assessing the 14 people at the scene. According to Rustenburg First Responders administrator Ammaar Wadee, several had sustained moderate injuries.

Emergency crews treated and stabilised the patients before transporting them to hospital for further care.

Rustenburg First Responders thanked LenCo (Pty) Ltd for helping ensure patients received medical care at Medicare Private Hospital.

The organisation also commended the emergency medical services that attended the scene for their swift response and teamwork.

The cause of the crash has not yet been confirmed.
