Don’t stop… keep driving!
[Letter to the editor]

16 December 2021

Rustenburg – I would like to warn motorists to be vigilant and not stop or pull over if a brick (or egg or any other item) is suddenly thrown onto their windscreen by criminals.
On the evening of Sunday 12 December, a person was driving along the N4. As they approached the bridge close to Drie Ankers, somebody dropped a brick from the bridge, at exactly the same time the driver passed. Unfortunately, a patrol by the neighbourhood watch police around the area yielded no success as the perpetrator of this crime could not be found.
