Sunrise Park/ Rustenburg – A pastor from Christ Embassy Church in Sunrise Park is on a mission to give hope to those facing economic or health related challenges by encouraging them to turn to God.

Pastor Thando Ntamo – who has led various community projects aimed at using prayer as tool to fight the Covid-19 pandemic – has been handing out Christian books and magazines in Sunrise Park and other parts of Rustenburg.

In an interview with Platinum Weekly, pastor Ntamo said churches have an important role of uniting communities and helping them overcome challenges associated with Covid-19 and difficult economic conditions.

“On Saturday 16 October, we handed out Rapsody of Realities devotional booklets to help people increase their faith through a life of daily prayer,” he said. “From 29 to 31 October, we will also be having an outreach programme to encourage people to turn to God for healing and mental wellness.

To many, the ongoing vaccination initiatives have created fear and we would like to remind our communities that God is only a prayer away. It is our duty as the body of Christ to bring hope, especially during difficult and unpredictable times,” he added.
