Kroondal – Learners at Tirelong Secondary School in Kroondal were encouraged by Start Happening author Dr. Gift Mweemba to lay a solid foundation for a successful future by excelling in their studies.

Mweemba, who launched his book at the school on Monday 31 May, encouraged learners to listen to their teachers and work towards achieving their career objectives. The launch of his book, which focuses on unlocking the potential of young students by instilling a success-driven mentality, was sponsored by IBR Holdings and MOKK Engineering Projects through their Dream Drive initiative.

“Successful people do not drive cars; they drive dreams. Cars are a product of their dreams and a means to achieve their goals,” Mweemba said.

“The driver’s licence for dreams is education. It does not expire and needs no renewal. Drive your dream with education and you will drive your dream car.

Education is the midwife that delivers dreams. You can dream dreams and have an archive of dreams but without education your dreams may only be good for your memory.”

Learners present during the launch were given an unexpected but pleasant surprise when they were each handed a copy of his motivational book.
