The Municipal Council of the Rustenburg Local Municipality adopted the Draft IDP Review for 2021/22 per item 99 in accordance with requirements of Section 34 (a) (i) of the Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000 as amended and the tabled 2021/22 MTREF (with the Tariffs and Budget Related Policies) as per Item 100 on the 31st March 2021.
Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 21 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, no 32 of 2000 (MSA) read with Sections 22 and 23 of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act 56 of 2003) of the tabled Draft IDP Review 2021/22 and 2021/22 MTREF as per above quoted item numbers.
Sections 21 and 21 (a) of the Municipal Systems Act; requires that the Municipality should publicize the said documents inviting the local community to submit representations in connection with the IDP and avail the document for public comments whilst the MFMA states the same with the tabled budget. 
The draft IDP Review 2021/22 and draft MTREF 2021/22 (with the Tariffs and Budget Related Policies) will be open for comments and inputs for a period of 21 days effective from 07th April 2021. The closing date for comments is set for 30th April 2021 at 10h00.
In terms of the provisions for public participation on the above Acts, the National Treasury, Provincial Treasury and the Local Community are hereby invited to peruse and submit written representations in connection with the IDP Review and the tabled 2021/22 MTREF to the Municipal Manager through email.

The draft IDP review 2021/22 and Tabled 
draft MTREF 2021/22 (with the Tariffs and Budget Related Policies) will be available for perusal from Thursday 07th April 2021 at the following venues:
•    Municipal Building: Missionary Mpheni House, Corner Nelson Mandela and Beyers Naude Drive;
•    Municipal Offices and RCC’s: Marikana, Hartebeesfontein/ Lethabong, Phatsima, Monnakato, Boitekong, Ikageng, Rankelenyane, Freedom Park, Phokeng Civic Centre;
Tribal Offices: Rankelenyane, Bethanie; Rustenburg Main Library; Community Libraries: Phatsima, Boitekong, Monnakato, Mamerotse Info Hub, Lethabong, Rankelenyane, Barseba, Tlhabane, Marikana, Mathopestad, Charora Info Hub, Karlien Park and Zinniaville; or
This may also be viewed on the Municipal website (www.rustenburg.gov.za)
A summary of the Operating Budget, Capital Budget as well as the proposed tariffs for 2021/22 is provided below:
