South Africa – August in South Africa marks the end of winter and the beginning of spring with longer warmer days. This time of the year is well-known for its slightly warmer, dry and of course the dusty windy weather. Inland wind can reach speeds of up to 15km per hour and the temperature fluctuates from a cold 6°C to highs of up to 33°C.

Take advantage of the few cooler days that are left by spending time with your family – snuggling up indoors. The warmer days also allows you to start taking part in exciting activities like crafting paper planes and flying kites – if the wind permits!
