Pedal to the metal

Rustenburg – Members of the Rustenburg Cycling Club (RCC) were on the outskirts of Pretoria East on Saturday 25 June to compete in the King Price Trailseeker #4 Legends MX. 

Anrich Barkhuizen performed exceptionally well in the 42km race by finishing 11th overall out of the 222 competitors. He also managed a third-place finish in the youth category. 

Jannie van der Westhuizen also did the RCC proud in the 40km race with a time of 2:21 while Jon Andrews completed the grandmaster race in a time of 2:03.
