BRIGHT FUTURE FOR RUCHIK

Zinniaville Secondary School’s Ruchik Joshi, who has been provisionally awarded an Eskom merit bursary following his achievement at the international science fair.

Platinum Weekly newspaper | Rustenburg – Zinniaville Secondary School learner Ruchik Joshi has taken an exciting step towards his academic future after being provisionally awarded an Eskom merit bursary at the 46th Eskom Expo International Science Fair, which took place from 29 September to 2 October 2026 at the Birchwood Hotel and OR Tambo Conference Centre in Boksburg, Gauteng.

Representing the Bojanala Region, Ruchik was one of six young scientists selected for the bursaries, which recognise outstanding academic performance, innovation and achievement. The award remains subject to his final matric results and compliance with Eskom’s bursary and admission requirements.
