Ocean Basket’s KWV evening a success!

Rustenburg – KWV and Ocean Basket Rustenburg presented an exclusive evening of wine and spirit tasting on Friday, 25 August.

It was a perfect evening of delectable seafood dishes accompanied by the perfect wine or spirit to suit your palate. 

“We are proud of our brand KWV and won the prestigious title of the World’s Best Brandy/ Cognac Producer for the second year, and the World’s Best Brandy for its KWV15, beating Cognacs and brandies from 70 countries at the 2016 International Spirit Challenge (ISC) awards function in London in July this year,” Jeff Lopes, KWV’s inland brand ambassador, said at the event. 

Before every wine was presented Lopes gave a short introduction of each. It comes as no surprise to hear that KWV boasts with 110 medals.

They have cemented their position as a leading international wine producer, winning an impressive 110 wine awards at both international and local competitions in July.

These include 7 trophies, 4 double gold, 26 gold, 39 silver and 34 bronze medals.
