Rustenburg/ Los Angeles – Miné Fourie won several gold medals at the World Championship for Performing Arts 2017 - from Monday 10 July 2017 - in Los Angeles, USA, for her modelling skills.

More than 60 countries partook in this glamorous event which stretched over several days. South Africa started out with 69 participants on 1 July, and ended up with 21 finalists. The categories included singing, dance, drama, modelling and instrumental.

Miné, a 15-year-old learner from Ho?rskool Rustenburg, took home 4 gold medals in the finals. She was dressed in beautiful creations by Peter Bondesio, a famous local designer, and was a great ambassador for her country, town and school.

Miné was the division winner in several categories, including ages 13-15 Swimwear Female, 13-15 Formal Female, and 13-15 Casual Female. She won gold medals in all of her categories.
