Kuda Murugweni, and Dominique Botha where crowned the winners in the junior category and in the senior category Megan Botha and Sego Jeffries walked away with the titles.

Susan Coetzee and Christel Herbst were the prestigious judges who had the difficult task of deciding on the winners.

The school wanted to create a platform to build the self confidence of their learners and the pageant made for a great opportunity.

Said Rustenburg Skool vir Buitengewone Onderwys principal Lamar Winter: “It was great seeing them participating in the pageant. Some were shy at first but once they heard the cheering,  they shined”.

After the pageant learners enjoyed a lovely picnic with snacks provided by the Nederduitse Gereformeerde Kerk Proteapark.

It was a great day filled with excitement, fun and fantastic food.
“The highlight of the day was definitely the smiles on everyone’s faces. Thank you to everyone who assisted in making the day a success,” said Winter.
