Man killed in drive-by shooting

Rustenburg – Police are requesting the assistance of the community to help find the persons involved in the murder of 31-year old Tebogo Mazua.

Tebogo and two women were traveling in a silver Volkswagen Polo between Chaneng and Robega in the early hours of Sunday 27 October. A white Toyota Carola with five men drove next to them, in the opposite lane, shouting, cursing and showing signs. 

According to police spokesperson captain Elsabé Augoustides, one of the passengers in the Carola opened fire on the Polo, fatally wounding Tebogo – who then lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a fence.

The women, who sustained minor injuries, ran for cover. The suspects fled the scene.
