Rustenburg – The directorate for priority crime investigation is in pursuit of a suspect who was involved in a cash-in-transit (CIT) robbery on Saturday 20 July.

According to provincial spokesperson of the Hawks, captain Tlangelani Rikhotso, the heavily armed suspects used two vehicles to force an armoured vehicle to a halt at the intersections of Fatima Bayat and Bosch street in Rustenburg. They then stole an undisclosed amount of money after they blew open the safes of the armoured vehicle.

The directorate for priority crime investigation urges anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the suspect to contact the investigating officer captain Mlungisi Ndlovu on 071 481 2867 or Crime Stop on 086 001 0111.
